Ruth Esther Cohea, age 92, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017 in Saint Peters, Missouri. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 20, 1924 to Frank and Helen Shepack. Ruth was a graduate of Beaumont High School and worked as a commercial artist before her marriage to Leland Cohea. She enjoyed art, flowers, gardening, and was a member of Grace Lutheran Chapel, Bellefontaine Neighbors.

Ruth is survived by her Sons, Steven L. (Kelley) Cohea of O'Fallon, MO, and Brad D. (late Brenda) Cohea of Saint Louis, MO, a Daughter, Darlene E. (James) Janiesch of Saint Peters, MO; four grandchildren, Jamie, Kristy, Kim and Cindi; and four great-grandchildren, Jenna, Jai, Nali and Mia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a Sister, Jeannette (late Robert) Koehne.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376, with Rev. Nathan Ruback officiating. Interment following in Memorial Park Cemetery, 5200 Lucas and Hunt, St. Louis, Missouri 63121.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home.
