Sharran L. Chitwood, age 68, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017 in O'Fallon, Missouri. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 13, 1948 to Walter and Lucile Rosemann,Sr. (nee VanHorn).
Sharran was a warranty clerk at Suntrup Buick GMC for 7 years. She was married to Fred Chitwood for 29 years.

Sharran loved to travel, walking, being outside and enjoying the company of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Lucile V. Rosemann, Sr., step-son Matthew Smith and sister-in-law, Maureen Rosemann.

Sharran is survived by her husband, Fred L. Chitwood of O'Fallon, MO; sons, James Wood and Scott (Denise) Wood; step-children, Sean (Diane) Marchant, Lisa (Chris) Barton, Russ (Shelly) Payton, Brad (Courtney) Chitwood and Gina (Jamie) McDaniel; brothers, Walter Rosemann, Jr. and William (JoEllyn) Rosemann;, sisters, Lynn (Mark Wiesmeyer) Rosemannn and Sally (Ronald) Owens; 13 grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive St. Peters, MO 63376. Funeral Ceremony will be at 6:00 pm Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home with Deacon Peter Pete Gounis officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to American Cancer Society.
