She is survived by her daughter Deanna Miller and her son Gary Gutierrez; 2 sisters Mary Louise Bruno and Jean Scalise; 1 brother Darrell Schultz; 5 grandchildren Jason (Emily) Miller, Eric (Charlotte) Miller, Gregory Miller, Peyton Gutierrez and Adam Gutierrez; 5 great-grandchildren Logan, David, Haley, Olivia and Nathan; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Pearl (nee Dicke) Schultz; 1 son David Gutierrez; 5 brothers Bobby Schultz, Edward Schultz, Andrew Schultz, Donald Schultz and William "Billy" Schultz and 1 sister Shirley Schultz.
A member of St. Gregory's Catholic Church in St. Ann, Missouri. Melba was a housewife, a wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.
The gathering will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive Saint Peters, Missouri on Tuesday, December 6th, 2016 from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm. Per her finals wishes, Melba has selected cremation.
