Zoa Ella Thompson, age 95, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 in St. Charles, Missouri. She was born in Potosi, Missouri on December 17, 1920 to Judson and Mary Smith (nee Conway). She retired as a Die Cutter with Emerson Electric. She married Jack Thompson in St. Louis on June 22, 1984, and he preceded her in death on January 15, 2001. Zoa was a member of Church of the Shepherd, was an avid bowler, enjoyed sewing, and loved being involved in Senior Activities.

Survivors include her Granddaughters, Lanie (Stephen) Beckering of Wentzville, MO and Gayle L. (Steven) Borho of Saint Charles, MO; great-grandchildren, Zachary Broeker, Lucas Beckering and Edgar Borho; 2 sisters, Blanche Owens of Jefferson City, MO and Hallie Leon of O'Fallon, MO. She was preceded in death by her Husband Jack; Daughter Marcella R. Kitchens and a son, Ronald V. Dodson.

A Celebration of Zoa's Life will be at 3:30 pm Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Church of the Shepherd, 1601 Woodstone Drive, St. Charles, MO 63304, with Pastor Carol Meyer officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm at Church of the Shepherd. Interment will be private.

Memorial contributions in Zoa's name may be made to Church of the Shepherd or the Adam Morgan Foundation
