Nicholas M. Rutter, age 37, of Saint Charles, Missouri lost his battle with addiction on Monday, July 30, 2018 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born in Wichita, Kansas on January 14, 1981 to Michael and Regina Rutter (nee Wilson).
Nick is survived by his parents; son, Lucious Rutter; fiance, Rebecca Hoey; brother, David (April Williams) Rutter; sister, Jaime Rutter; aunt, Kaye Wilson and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandma, Audrey Wilson.
Nick loved fishing and the outdoors. He was an avid Disc Golf player and was a member of the St. Charles Disc Golf Club. He enjoyed writing on his Facebook blog #fatkiddiary daily. He was an advocate for spreading awareness of addiction and recovery through #bangputtsnotdope. Nick loved helping other people and lit up a room with smiles whenever he was around. He loved tacos, hockey, music and life. Most of all his greatest achievements were his son and the love of his life, Becky.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday August 3, 2018 at 6:00 pm, Quail Ridge Park, 5501 Quail Ridge Trail, Wentzville, Missouri 63385 - Pavilion 1.
