Embraced by her faith, Marianne Kathleen Koene Grove of St. Charles, Missouri passed away on September 18, 2020 after a brief illness.
Marianne worked for many years at Trail Head Restaurant in St. Charles. Earlier she worked for McDonnell-Douglass in St. Louis and she had been an Aquatic Director at YMCA facilities in St. Charles, Missouri and Lincoln, Nebraska.
Marianne was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Orchard Farm High School in 1976.
She is survived by her husband Steve Grove; her mother Patricia Koenen of St. Charles and her brothers Edward A. (Dawn) of St. Peters, Missouri and Glenn M. (Peggy) of Oakville, Missouri. Marianne was preceded in death by her father, Glenn E. Koenen of St. Charles.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 24 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 601 North Fourth Street in St. Charles. A celebration of life will follow at Tony's On Main, 132 North Main Street in St. Charles.
