In Memory Of
Anthony Dion Brown
1966 - 2020
He was born at St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond Heights, Missouri on August 25, 1966, son of the late Paul and Antoinette "Toni" Brown.
Anthony "Tony" was named after his mother, Antoinette (Toni). Grandmother Lena Sharamitaro gave him the nickname, "Nino", an Italian word meaning "God is gracious"; also used in masculine terms to mean baby or infant. He will always be "Nino" to his brothers and sisters.
Anthony graduated from North County Tech in 1986. While on a service call driving I-55 downtown St. Louis, an unknown sniper shot at the company van. Although not injured, he decided to seek other employment.
He helped out at his mother's businesses "Toni Brown Antiques" and "Main Street Deli & Restaurant" in Historical St. Charles. As bass guitarist for "Buddy Reed & the Rock-N-Roll Express", he performed with brother, Chris in the bi-state area.
In 1989 he graduated from Bryant Institute and worked as a certified medical assistant for a few years. That is, until computers hit the market with M.S.Windows 95. After that, he changed course again with his remaining working years in the PC industry. While working at WAN Computers, he learned to build, repair, install network systems and was always eager to help friends and family when they had computer problems. When he discovered child porn on a customer's pc he alerted F.B.I. authorities.
He was loyal friend to many. He loved to cook Italian food and gourmet dishes as well as grill and Bar-B-Q. Hell's Kitchen was his favorite TV show.
Anthony is preceded in death by his wife, Rhonda L. Brown, parents Paul T. Brown and Antoinette L. Brown (nee Sharamitaro)
Anthony is survived by his stepson Dustin T. Adkins; his siblings Christopher T. Brown (Connie), Paula M. Brown ( Al Angiocchi) , Stephen B. Brown (Cheri), Tammy L. DiMercurio (Joe), and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
