In Memory Of
Nancy L. Andren
1932 - 2020

Nancy L. Andren, age 88, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020 in St. Charles, Missouri. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 2, 1932 to William and Lillian Austermuehle (nee Dony).

Nancy’s life revolved around her family. She recently celebrated her 68th wedding anniversary with her lifetime love, Roy. Her children, grandchildren and great grandson were her pride and joy. She loved sharing family stories, talking about recipes and just spending time together as a family. Her passion was cooking for her family and others. She began preparing meals for her family at a young age of 11 (her first meal was meatloaf and mashed potatoes) and she immediately fell in love with cooking. She loved reading through cookbooks, trying new recipes and critiquing what she cooked, there was never a bad meal served at her table - ok maybe a couple were duds. Our family was blessed by her guidance, selflessness, and strength and we will be forever grateful for the love she showed each of us - she will be greatly missed.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Roy Andren; her children, Richard W. Andren, Robert C. Andren, Tracy Ann (John) Corrao, and Christopher J. (Barb) Andren; her grandchildren, Eric (Erin) Corrao, Christopher (Nicole) Corrao, Kelli-ann (Connor) Hempen, Madeline Corrao, Max Andren, Wil Andren, and Jon Andren; her great-grandson, Luca Corrao; and her brother, George Austermuehle. She will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lillian Austermuehle; her three sisters, Wilma Kruger, Annette Jozwik, and Aleta Adamick; and her two brothers, Bud Austermuehle, and Paul Austermuehle.

Services will be private. Memorial contributions in Nancy's name may be made out to Operation Food Search - Saint Louis, 1644 Lotsie Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63132
