In Memory Of
Brendan John Fowler
1978 - 2021
Brendan was born in Queens, New York on August 2, 1978 to John and Ellen (McClellan) Fowler into a loving family that included his older sister Bridget and twin brother Sean.
Brendan was born to be a Paladin. He loved epic narratives of battles between good and evil, as such he was enthralled by comics and quality gaming. He made most of his livelihood working retail and going to conventions with Wizards Wagon and Comic Relief. But his true love was his multivarious friendships. Brendan had an extensive and vibrant friend group, and made new friends wherever he went. Brendan was a larger than life figure, wherever he went he made an impression. He was a true original, idiosyncratic to his core. Unfortunately, Brendan was taken from us far too soon when he lost his last battle with the emperor of all maladies, cancer.
Brendan is survived by his mother Ellen (Frederick) Ciesla, sister Bridget (Neil) Scullion, brother Sean (Michelle Ridlen) Fowler, step-sisters Ericka (Steve) Williams and Michelle (Nick) Connelly, as well as his aunt Mary McClellan, several cousins, nephews, and a niece. He will also be dearly missed by a host of other family members and friends.
Brendan was preceded in death by his father, John Fowler.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 24, 2021, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions,
837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, MO. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at 4:00 PM.
Brendan’s family is asking that in lieu of flowers, friends are encouraged to make donations to help support the de Greeff Hospice House through the Mercy Health Foundation South at https://give.mercyhealthfoundation.net/give/326481/#!/donation/checkout
