Adam James Morris of St. Charles County, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the age of 40.
Born on October 3, 1985, Adam was the beloved son of John “Rusty” Morris and Kathleen Morris (née Garrigan), and devoted brother to Justin Morris and his "favorite sister-in-law" Aubrey Morris.
Whether helping others or working with his hands, Adam took pride in creating and accomplishing things. He could often be found outdoors flying his drone or working on a variety of home projects alongside his dad. His eight-year career at UPS was also a source of pride and fulfillment.
Adam had an insatiable sweet tooth and especially loved his mom’s legendary brownies. He sometimes arrived at family gatherings a little late, but often with a couple of quarts of ice cream to go along with dessert.
He cherished spending time with his family and friends, sharing laughter, stories, and special moments together. Adam had a remarkable gift for making people feel welcome, valued, and cared for, and his presence brought comfort and joy to those around him. He also had a way with words and loved sending greeting cards that were truly one of a kind—both heartfelt and hilarious.
In addition to his immediate family, Adam is survived by his grandmother, Ann Garrigan, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members, all of whom held a special place in his heart. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Scott and Earlene Morris; James Garrigan; and his cousin, Sarah Galyon.
Adam’s memory will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by family and friends for his charm, kindness, quick wit, warm spirit and genuine care for others.
A private family service will be held to honor Adam’s life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of St. Louis in Adam’s memory. Adam loved dogs, especially his favorite girls, Lizzy, Elly, and Noodles.
