Alice Thibodeaux

Alice Thibodeaux, born on September 11, 1946, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026, at the age of 79. Cherished and beloved by her family and friends, Alice’s departure leaves a profound sense of loss in the hearts of all who knew her.

Throughout her life, Alice was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Robert Thibodeaux, who was her steadfast companion for many years; her daughter, Cherie Thibodeaux; her son's, Robert (Constanza) Thibodeaux, John (Maryjo) Thibodeaux; and her grandchildren, Oscar Thibodeaux and Otis Thibodeaux, who brought her immense joy and pride. Alice’s memory will also be lovingly remembered by her extended family and all who were touched by her kindness and generosity. She was preceded in death by her mother, Julia Andrus, whose influence helped shape Alice’s enduring warmth and resilience.

Alice lived a life grounded in family values, compassion, and service to others. She found joy in the simple pleasures of daily life—her days were often filled with the aromas from her kitchen as she cooked meals for her loved ones. Alice was an avid reader, always eager to expand her horizons and immerse herself in new stories. Most importantly, she cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren, creating countless memories that will live on in their hearts.

Service to her community was an integral part of Alice’s life. She volunteered regularly at her church, dedicating her time and energy to help others and make a positive difference. Her warm spirit and willingness to support those in need left a lasting legacy of kindness.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebrate Alice’s life at the Newcomer Funeral Home, West County, located at 2211 Clarkson Rd, Chesterfield, MO 63005. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM.

Alice Thibodeaux’s unwavering love, gentle nature, and commitment to her family and community leave an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her compassion, warmth, and unwavering support.
