Anita Louise Wescott

Anita Louise Wescott, 88, of St. Peters, passed away on May 14, 2025. She is survived by Donald R. Wescott, her husband of 71 years, three daughters- Rebecca L. Brown, Kimberly A. Lesinski, and Jennifer S. Smith, 1 son-in-law Christopher M. Smith, 9 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Valerie L. Wescott, her grandson, Jacob W. Brown, and 2 sons-in-law- Robert E. Brown, and Michael E. Lesinski.

She was born to Helen and Louis Jones on October 3, 1936, in Endicott, NY. She had 2 younger brothers Roy Jones and Robert Jones (both deceased), and 1 younger sister, Adele Madison. She and her husband were married on February 5, 1954, and lived in Montana and Alabama, before settling in Missouri. 

Anita was very active and involved in her church, Grace Community Chapel, for over 35 years. She loved to travel, read, and sing. She taught Vacation Bible School, led bible studies, taught Precept classes, and led many souls to Jesus. She was a strong, kind, loving, and selfless person, who loved Jesus, her family, and her friends. 

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that you  consider making a donation to her beloved church in her name. 

A memorial/Celebration of Life will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters on Sunday, June 1, from 1-5 P.M.
