Barbara Ann Bartram, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2026, in Lake St Louis, Missouri, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 19, 1937, in Sumner, Illinois, Barbara lived a life marked by kindness, warmth, and an unfailing joy that touched everyone who knew her.
Barbara was known for her loving nature, always happy and ready to share her happiness with those around her. A great cook and baker, she delighted her family and friends with her culinary talents, creating memories around the table that will be cherished for generations. Her passion for cooking and baking was just one expression of her deeply caring spirit.
Throughout her life, Barbara embraced activities that brought her joy and connection. She loved to play games and enjoyed traveling to Florida, where she spent her winters in Fort Myers with Frank, her husband of 55 years until his passing in 2011. She found great pleasure in playing bocce ball and had a deep love for the beach, which brought her tranquility and happiness.
Barbara’s proudest accomplishments were her sons and their families. She leaves behind her devoted sons, Greg (Cissy) Bartram and Brett (Amy) Bartram, who carry forward her legacy of love and strength. Her grandchildren—Taylor (Cody) Bartram-Haislip, Lauren (Lafe Windmiller) Bartram, and Riley Bartram—and her great-grandchildren, Duke Haislip and Ledger Haislip, were the light of her life, filling her days with laughter and pride.
Her family also mourns the loss of her husband, Frank Bartram, her parents, Hugh and Lucille White, and her brother, J.D. White, who preceded her in death. Their memory lives on in Barbara's heart, along with the love she so generously shared throughout her life.
Barbara’s gentle spirit and unwavering love made her a cornerstone of her family. She was more than a mother and grandmother; she was a friend, a mentor, and a beacon of happiness. As her family and friends reflect on her life, they hold close the warmth and kindness that defined her. Her legacy is one of love, joy, and the simple, profound happiness found in sharing life’s moments with those we cherish.
Barbara Ann Bartram will be deeply missed but fondly remembered, her spirit forever alive in the hearts of those she touched.
