Barbara Kaminski (née Seibum), known affectionately as “Barb,” passed away on July 4, 2026. Born on March 14, 1952, in St. Louis, Missouri, her seventy-four years were marked by deep devotion to family, a bright and a vibrant spirit, and generous nature.
Barbara’s essence was defined by her warmth and her unwavering kindness. She possessed a rare optimism that brightened every room she entered, and her innate generosity was evident in every facet of her life. Barbara never met a stranger—her love of conversation and inclusive attitude created connections wherever she went. She was always willing to lend her support, extending a helping hand to others at every opportunity.
As a seamstress of notable skill, Barbara devoted many years of her career to her craft, earning both respect and admiration for her dedication and craftsmanship. She loved sewing so much, she took careful time creating baby blankets for all of her grandchildren and her great-grandchild. Additionally, she worked with great commitment at Toner Charge, where her work ethic and approachability forged lasting relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
Barbara’s personal life radiated with the same energy and care she poured into her work. She found great joy in cooking and baking, especially in her younger years, creating memorable meals for the people she loved. Shopping was one of her favorite pastimes, and those who knew her admired her cleverness as a resourceful and savvy shopper.
Family was the cornerstone of Barbara’s life. She cherished every moment spent with loved ones and held her role as grandmother with particular pride. She created a nurturing environment full of laughter and affection, making each gathering special. Among the many cherished memories, family trips to Worlds of Fun, Oceans of Fun, and Rocky Mountain National Park during her children’s younger years stand out as a testament to the joy and unity she fostered within her family.
Barbara is survived by her children: Dawn Marie (Jared) Stevens, Scott Steven (Rachel) Kaminski, Brian Michael (Jen) Kaminski, and Amber Marie (Trevor Peroutka) Kaminski. She leaves behind a loving legacy in her grandchildren and great-grandchild: Heather (Kody) Noltkamper, Grace (Isabelle DeFrancesco) Kaminski, Riley Kaminski, Kayla White, Tyler (Audrey Westenbroek) Kaminski, Nick Stevens, Gavin Kaminski, Claire Kaminski, Sawyer Kaminski, Emma Kaminski, Bee Kaminski, Charlie Stevens, Wyatt Peroutka, and Hudson Noltkamper. Barbara is also survived by her dear sisters, Sue Poole and Shirley Salini.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Steven Kaminski, her mother, Mary Margaret Seibum, her father, Charles Frank Seibum, and her brother, David Seibum.
Barbara’s legacy is one of selfless love, enduring optimism, and a boundless ability to make those around her feel welcomed and valued. She will be deeply missed and long remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
It is Barb's wishes for a private family only service to be held at a later date.
