Betsy Duhn, a devoted caregiver, passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 74. Born on October 12 1950, Betsy dedicated herself to a career that underscored her and commitment to others. For 15 years, she served as a labor delivery nurse, bringing new lives into the world with a gentle touch and unwavering support. Later, she transitioned into the role of a healthcare case manager, where her skills and heartfelt dedication continued to make a difference in the lives of many.

Beyond her professional life, Betsy was vibrant and full of joy. She had an insatiable wanderlust, often embarking on cherished road trips to the Southwest, where the landscapes and cultures captivated her spirit. The holidays were a particular delight for Betsy; she embraced them with enthusiasm and warmth, bringing her family together to celebrate love and joy. An avid reader, she found solace and adventure in the pages of countless books, often sharing her insights and recommendations with those around her.

Betsy's laughter was infectious, and she possessed a wonderful sense of humor that could lighten the heaviest of hearts. Her great nieces and nephews will fondly remember her hugs and her giving spirit, as she had a unique way of making each one of them feel special and loved.

Betsy surrounded herself with a wonderful group of women friends throughout her life with whom she made numerous cherished memories.  

Betsy is survived by her loving sister, Denice (Bob) Kurak, her brother, Dave Duhn, and her brother-in-law, John Behl, along with a host of other family members and friends whose lives she touched with her kindness and grace. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Duhn; her mother, Anne Duhn; her sister, Judy Behl; and her sister-in-law, Joanne Duhn.

As we reflect on Betsy's life, we remember her as a devoted nurse, a passionate traveler, and a beloved friend. Her legacy of love, laughter, and caring will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
