William "Bill" Bostwick, a devoted family man and skilled craftsman, passed away on January 1, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on September 30, 1949, in St. Louis, Missouri, Bill was known for his unwavering dedication to both his career and family.
Throughout his life, Bill demonstrated remarkable talent as a carpenter and mechanic. His craft was not merely a profession; it was an expression of his creativity and problem-solving abilities. Colleagues and friends admired him for his hardworking nature and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Bill’s generosity of spirit was evident in everything he did; he would often drop what he was doing to assist others.
A passionate individual, Bill found joy in a variety of pursuits. He was an enthusiastic motorcycle aficionado and spent countless hours engaging in DIY projects with his daughters. His love for sports was evident in his frequent attendance at games alongside his grandchildren, fostering cherished memories that they will hold dear for years to come. He never missed a game or performance for his daughters, earning him the title of "The Best Dance and Volleyball Dad". Bill also enjoyed watching movies and had a deep appreciation for music, often expressing himself through playing the drums.
Bill was a proud husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his devoted wife, Donna Bostwick; two daughters, Maria (Adam) Majors and Kate (Guy) Shoshan; and five beloved grandchildren, Madison, Cooper, and Alex Majors, as well as Kai and Quinn Shoshan. He also leaves behind a host of family members and friends who will miss his warmth and kindness.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Leo Bostwick, and his mother, Verna Marie Bostwick. Bill Bostwick’s legacy of love, dedication, and creativity will continue to resonate in the lives of those he cherished. His memory will be lovingly celebrated by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
