Carol Ann Bauer, born Haller, peacefully departed this life on February 28, 2026, at the age of 88, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family in St. Peters, Missouri. A formidable presence in the lives she touched, Carol was born on November 16, 1937, in St. Louis, Missouri, to her loving parents, Raymond and Eleanor Haller.
Beloved wife of the late Helmuth "Duke" Bauer, Loving Mother of Steve Bauer, Cindy (Vern) Aslin and Patricia Lafeber. Grandmother of Dan (Jenn) Aslin, Mike (Jess) Aslin, Kevin (Kim) Aslin, Jenna (Blake) St. John, Megan (Justin) Boehmer, and Ryan Lafeber. Loving great-grandmother of Morgan, Kamden, and Kinsley Aslin, Owen, Parker, Everly St. John, and one more on the way.
Carol loved to travel with Duke and their group of close friends and family. Either camping with the family/friends when their kids were younger, being at their condo at the Lake of the Ozarks or on a cruise, plus Hawaii for their Anniversary. Carol always loved watching the grandkids play their sports with Duke and just hanging out with her family. Carol was so excited when she found out she was going to be a great grandma (6) times. They were the light of her day when they came to visit her. Carol will be greatly missed by so many.
Carol was a proud pass member of the Ladies Auxiliary Club for the Elks in Florissant, Missouri.
Her favorite pastime was making gifts by crochet, cross-stitching, and doing puzzles.
