Carolyn M. Glosemeyer, a cherished resident of St. Peters, Missouri, was born on November 9, 1936, in Neosho, Missouri. She peacefully departed this life on September 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Carolyn was the beloved daughter of Clyde Ambrose Reed and Flora Reed. Throughout her life, she demonstrated an unwavering commitment to her family and community. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Richard Edward Glosemeyer, with whom she shared many wonderful years. Together, they built a legacy of love and kindness that touched the lives of many.

As a proud mother, Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Terri (Jesus) Flores, Luzlie (Greg) Phillips, and Elizabeth (Jeff) Kjar, and her sons, Edward R. (Andrea) Glosemeyer, Alan (Laura) Glosemeyer, and Andrew D. (Rosa) Glosemeyer. Her family extended with the joy of grandchildren, including Margo Kelley-Jennings, Amber Morton, Celeste Flores, Michael (Kristi) Glosemeyer, Kyle Phillips, Courtney Kjar, Cory Kjar, Mark (Stacy) Regna, Ryan Glosemeyer, Eric (Kelly) Glosemeyer, Anthony Glosemeyer, Amanda (Rodney) Meeks, Abbey (Andrew) Kramer, Justin Glosemeyer, Ian Glosemeyer, and Nathan (Jojo) Glosemeyer. Added to her legacy are her great-grandchildren, Kaiden Glosemeyer, Khloe Glosemeyer, Mariah Glosemeyer, Macie Glosemeyer, Hayley Glosemeyer, and Emily Glosemeyer.

Carolyn also mourned the loss of her son, Larry Summerfield, and her daughter, Beth Higginbotham, along with her grandson Brian Phillips.

In her final days, Carolyn was embraced by the love of her family, a fitting conclusion to a life spent in devotion to them. Her warmth, wisdom, and generosity will be dearly missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Services will be private. Carolyn will be laid to rest in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
