Constance "Connie" C. Parrish, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on March 11, 1941, Connie spent her early years in St. Louis, where she attended Webster Elementary School.
Connie made significant contributions as a waitress in several respected establishments, including Luigi's Restaurant, Little John's Pub, and Henry VII Hotel. Her warm demeanor and dedication to service left a lasting impression on many patrons throughout her career.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Connie is survived by her three sons, Jim Cooper (Linda), Don Randall Cooper (Tracey), and Jon Paul Cooper; her daughter, Connie (Rich) Marter; her brother, Paul Knight (Madie); and her seven cherished grandchildren, Jeremy Wells, Paul Krado, Don Randall Cooper Jr., Ryan Cooper, Bryan Westenberger, Alexis Head, and Ashley Head. Connie’s passion for family was evident in every interaction, and she cherished the time spent with her loved ones.
Connie was preceded in death by her two daughters, Carla Jean Cooper and Fonda Cooper; her brother, Ron Knight; her husband, David J. Parrish; her mother, Elvis Marie McGinnis; her father, Burley Jesse Knight; and her sister, Betty Knight. Each of these losses carved deeply into her heart, yet Connie continued to embody resilience and love.
An animal lover and gardening enthusiast, Connie found joy and solace in nurturing her plants and tending to her furry friends. Her kindness and generosity extended beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of those around her.
A celebration of Connie's life will be held on October 8, 2025, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM and a funeral service following at 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri. A graveside service will take place at Bellerive Gardens Cemetery in St. Louis at 2:30 PM.
Constance "Connie" C. Parrish will be missed dearly, but her legacy of love and dedication will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
