Daniel James Kelly, a cherished husband, father, and brother, passed on September 27, 2024 at the age of 68. Born on October 17, 1955, Daniel was known for his warm spirit, infectious laughter, and steadfast dedication to his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy love and devotion that will remembered by all who knew him.
Daniel is survived by his beloved wife, Sherry L. Kelly; his step-son, Jarrod R. Eberle (Abbie); his step-daughter, Casandra S. Buneta; his step-granddaughter, Leah S. Buneta; and his like brother, Warren Hayden. His family was central to his life, and he cherished each moment spent together.
Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth J. Kelly; his mother, Jamie R. Kelly; and his brother, Tim Kelly. Their memories lived on in his heart as he navigated his own life's journey.
An avid sports fan, Daniel enjoyed watching football, a passion rooted in his own days of playing during high school. He found joy in taking long walks and engaged deeply with his faith through reading the Bible. These interests underscored his positive outlook on life and his desire to connect with others.
A visitation will be held on October 9, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St. Peters, MO 63376. Following this, a memorial service will take place at the same location, commencing at 4:15 PM. The following day, a graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, located at 2700 West Clay Street, Saint Charles, MO 63301, starting at 1:00 PM.
Daniel James Kelly will be deeply missed, but his spirit will remain alive in the hearts of those who loved him. His unwavering love and commitment to his family and friends serve as an enduring inspiration.
