Danny Lee Hayes, a loving father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on August 30, 2025, in St. Peters, Missouri. Born on April 27, 1955, in St. Louis, Missouri, Danny lived a life rich with cherished moments and joyful experiences that will forever resonate with those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Danny was the beloved son of Edgar and Lorene. He grew up alongside his siblings, Debbie and Dennis, with whom he shared countless memories. Though his siblings and parents have since departed, their influence remains an integral part of his legacy.

As a father, Danny instilled a sense of passion and dedication in his son, Matthew. The bond they shared is one filled with laughter, adventures, and immeasurable love. Danny found immense joy in watching his family grow, especially in the eyes of his grandchildren, Nolan and Maggie. Their smiles and laughter were among his greatest treasures, and he cherished every moment spent with them, weaving memories that would last a lifetime.

A devoted sports enthusiast, Danny relished watching Cardinals baseball. The thrill of the game often brought him joy, especially when he could share the fun with his family. Whether he was out on the green or fishing by the water, Danny always found the beauty in life's simple pleasures, embracing each moment with an open heart.

His kindness and genuine spirit touched many lives. As we gather to honor his life, we remember the man who was more than a father and grandfather; he was a friend, a mentor, and a loving soul who knew how to find joy in every corner of life.

A visitation will be held to commemorate Danny's life on September 15, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri. We invite all who knew him to come share their stories and celebrate a life lived with purpose, love, and endless compassion.

Danny leaves behind a legacy that will echo in the hearts of those he loved. His journey may have ended, but the love he nurtured and the memories created will forever remain in our hearts. Let's remember him for all the kindness he shared and the joy he brought into our lives.
