David A. Henry, a kind and steadfast soul, passed away on November 12, 2025, in O'Fallon, Missouri, at the age of 66. Born on September 19, 1959, Dave was not just a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather; he was also a master machinist whose work ethic and calm demeanor left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

From the young age of 18 until his retirement, Dave devoted his professional life to Missouri Metals. There, his artistry and skill as a machinist shone brightly as he trained numerous co-workers, always exhibiting the patience and kindness that defined his character. His colleagues will remember him not just for his expertise, but for the amazing personality that made the workplace a better place to be.

A proud graduate of Francis Howell High School, Dave's education laid the foundation for a life filled with accomplishment, both personally and professionally. He was a man of many interests; he cherished the moments spent camping and hiking with his beloved wife, Tamra. Traveling the country with her, Dave found joy in creating memories, including the special times they shared taking their grandchildren to Disney World. These adventures were filled with laughter and love, often accompanied by their beloved dog, Lady Sady Bug, who would ride in her stroller during their long walks.

In every aspect of his life, Dave displayed a remarkable ability to remain calm, cool, and collected, always maintaining a cheerful disposition that brought happiness to those around him. His loving nature extended to his family, and he is survived by his devoted wife, Tamra Henry; sons Joseph (Casey) Henry and Anthony (Jenny) Henry; step-daughter Michelle (Kurt) Taylor; step-sons Joseph Meyers and Joshua (Amanda) Werremeyer; and step-daughter Andria (Ian) Kreitler. Dave also leaves behind a legacy of 22 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his spirit of love and kindness.

Dave is preceded in death by his cherished daughter, Mindy Henry; his parents, Donald and Janace Henry; two sisters, Donna Dowling and Cheryl Flanakin; alongside brothers Mark and John Henry; a grandson, Brandon Lee Blankenship; and a great-grandson, Kayden David Coleman-Henry. Each life he touched, including family and friends, reflects the warmth and compassion he embodied.

As we remember David A. Henry, let us hold dear the innumerable memories he created, the lessons he imparted, and the love he shared. His legacy lives on through his family and in the hearts of all who had the privilege and honor to know him.
