David M. Krawczyk, a beloved figure known for his passion for music and warm presence, passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on July 4, 1943, David lived a life full of joy and musical expression, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Throughout his life, David developed a deep love for singing and karaoke, which brought him immense joy and provided a means of connecting with others. His enthusiasm for music was a cornerstone of his identity, and he often used it to foster friendships and create lasting memories. Besides his musical pursuits, David enjoyed traveling, exploring new places, and experiencing different cultures, which further enriched his life and those around him.
David took pride in working at Wetterau Super Value as a forklift driver for twenty-five years, where he eventually retired.
David is survived by his former wife, Barbara; his two sons, David Krawczyk, Jr. and Matt Krawczyk; his daughter, Julie Krawczyk; as well as three sisters, Pat Grassmuck, Nancy Hutson, and Kay Pilla; and his brother, Ken Krawczyk. He is also remembered fondly by a host of other family members and friends who cherished his kindness and humor.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Krawczyk; mother, Mildred Krawczyk; and two sisters, Diane Johnson and Amy Howlett. David's legacy of love, laughter, and music will continue to resonate in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
