Deanna Sue Otto

Deanna Sue Otto, 79, of Florissant, passed away on the morning of August 8, 2026. She was preceded in death by her sister, Janis Carol Granstaff.

She was born to the late Beatrice Jones September 27, 1946, in Jonesboro, AR. Beloved wife of Melvin John Otto for over 60 years, they raised their two sons David (Rhonda) and Kieth (Angela) in north St. Louis County.

In addition to her husband and sons, Deanna is survived by four grandchildren whom she loved dearly: Mary Otto, Garrett Otto, Isabelle Otto, and Ariana Otto. She was also the proud great grandmother of Xavier Berry. She was a loving aunt and great aunt to many. Deanna loved her pets, treating each one as a cherished family member. She had a strong faith, as well as a love for owls and the color purple.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Stray Rescue of St. Louis.

To honor her wishes, no services will be held.
