Deborah Honerkamp

Deborah Honerkamp passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on December 26, 1955, Deborah will be remembered with love for the joy she found in the people and pursuits that meant the most to her.

Deborah loved collecting elephants, a hobby that reflected her warm spirit and the delight she took in the special details of life. She also loved traveling and going out to dinner with her husband, Ricky, and those shared experiences brought happiness and lasting memories. Above all, Deborah loved spending time with her family, and that devotion remained at the heart of her life.

She is survived by her husband, Ricky Honerkamp; her son, Gary (Sharon) Hayden; and her brother, Gary (Katie) Shelton. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will remember her with affection and gratitude for the time they shared with her.

Deborah was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Shelton, and her mother, Janet Shelton. Their memory remained an important part of her life and story.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on September 28, 2026, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, St. Peters, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Peters, MO 63376.
