Debra Ann "Debbie" Jansen, 68, passed away peacefully at her home on October 15, 2026.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, to Elmer and Rosemary Jansen, Debbie was known for her strength, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. She had a warm spirit that drew people to her and a generous heart that always placed the needs of others before her own. As a devoted mother and grandmother, she found her greatest joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren, celebrating their accomplishments, and creating lasting memories together. She also cherished the love and companionship she shared with her partner, Tom Seibel.
Debbie had a wonderful sense of humor and could always be counted on to bring laughter to any gathering. She enjoyed board games, treasured time with family and friends, and was an accomplished trout fisherwoman who proudly held the family record for the largest trout ever caught. She was deeply dedicated to her work and was a valued member of the Pattonville School District, where her commitment and work ethic left a lasting impression on colleagues and those she served.
Debbie is survived by her loving partner, Tom Seibel; her children, Jenny (Vadim) Shakhnovich, Angie (Jon) Laurenti, Eddie (Jess) Roth, Andy (Brittany) Roth, and Katie Roth; her fourteen grandchildren, Jada, Jacob, Allie, Jonnie, Maddie, Jack, Gavin, Dylan, Shay, Brooke, Blair, AJ, Layla, and Emma; her brothers, Dennis, Joe, and Kevin Jansen; and her sister, Linda Immer. She is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews, as well as Tom's children, Kevin and Katie, and his three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Rosemary Jansen.
Debbie's legacy lives on through the family she loved so deeply and the countless lives she touched with her kindness, compassion, and strength. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
