Dennis D"Denny" Jacquot, age 69, of Warrenton, Missouri passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Parkway West Hospital surrounded by family.
Denny loved the outdoors, was an avid hunter and fisherman and had a passion for American Indian Culture. He spent countless hours flint knapping, making arrows, and other artifacts as well as making and possesing an abnormally large collection of knives. He enjoyed teaching and sharing his hobbies with his daughter, Erin, while growing up, who has grown to love, appreciate, and use the knowledge and lessons in her adult life. Denny also enjoyed history from the Civil War era, especially books and black and white films. It has been said he was born 100 years too late.
In the 70's during his younger years, he enjoyed music and was the lead guitarist and singer in a band called "The Shade" that performed at numerous dances and weddings.
Denny was also known for his generosity and his love for the Lord. He frequently read the Bible, inspirational books, and attended Bible studies. Every Christmas he surprised his family with his handmade gifts and if someone was in need, he found a way to share what he had with them.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Jacquot; and survived by daughter, Erin Jacquot of Troy, IL; his father, Julius "Jules" Jacquot of Warrenton, MO; his sister, Debbie Leake of Warrenton, MO; his sister Donna Forgy of Wentzville, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
