Dorothy Busch

Dorothy Busch, a beloved mother, step-mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on June 30, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on January 26, 1940, Dorothy dedicated her life to nurturing her family and building connections with all those around her. She found joy in the company of others, often relishing in moments spent with family and friends.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Mark) Stacy; two step-daughters, Margie (Steve) Smith and Ann (Jerry) West; and two step-sons, August (Lucia) Busch and Timothy (Shannon) Busch. Her legacy continues through her eleven grandchildren: RJ Stacy, Amanda Smith, Beth Smith, Peggy Smith, Timothy (Theresa) Smith, Bianca (Derek) Wagner, Augie (Veronica) Busch, Riley Busch, Jade Busch, Shelby West, and Grace West. She was also a proud great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren: Jack Johnson, Piper Smith, Charolette Busch, Gus Busch, Beverly Wagner, and Oliver Wagner. Dorothy is further survived by her sister-in-law, Joyce King, along with a host of other family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her husband, August Busch, Jr. father, George King; mother, Mable King; her son, Mark Bouchie; three brothers, Richard King, Jimmy King, and Thomas King; her sister, Janet King.

Dorothy's family and friends will remember her for her warmth, kindness, and the vibrant spirit that she brought into every gathering. She will be missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Visitation and memorial services will be held on July 8, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri. The visitation will take place from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by the memorial service at 6:00 PM. Dorothy’s family invites all whose lives were touched by her to come and celebrate her remarkable life.
