Dorothy Jean Drury

Dorothy “Dot” Jean Drury, 95, of St. Charles, MO, went to heaven on Sunday, July 20,2025. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Dot touched the lives of many with her warmth and kindness.

She was born to the late William and Manda Dunger, on February 6, 1930, in Fornfelt, MO. Dot graduated from Fornfelt High School in 1947. She was married to Leander “Tunney” Drury on May 30, 1970, and they lived together in Woodson Terrace, MO.

Dot is survived by her daughter, Leanne Greer (Ron Greer); her two granddaughters, Cori Milwerger (Jake Milwerger), and Cameron Wildgrube (Austin Wildgrube), grandson, Zachary Greer; two great-grandchildren, Colton Milwerger and Amelia Milwerger. A host of other family members and friends will carry her memory in their hearts.

Dot was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leander “Tunney” Drury; parents, William and Manda Dunger; her three brothers, Clarence Dunger, William “Bill” Dunger, and Charles “Charlie” Dunger; her two sisters, Ida Dunger and Shirley Schroeder.

A viewing will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home from 4 pm to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 29th. Services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 30th at 9:00 am followed by burial at 11am at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
