Dorothy J. Sanders

Dorothy J. Sanders, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on November 10, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on July 6, 1944, Dorothy's life was marked by her unwavering love for her family.

Dorothy loved her second home in Mississippi and sitting outside to enjoy the wilderness around her. She was an avid reader. Dorothy was a devoted St Louis Cardinals fan. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister and friend to many. 

She is survived by her devoted husband, Glen Sanders; her son, Mike S. Kisling; and her daughter-in-law, Kimberly (Timothy) Rowden. Dorothy also leaves behind her cherished sister, DeLinda Fitch, along with a host of other family members and friends who will sorely miss her presence.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her father, Robert Edgar Lee, Jr., and her mother, Dora Atnip. She was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Randall Fitch, who held a special place in her heart.

Throughout her life, Dorothy exhibited kindness and a genuine spirit that touched the lives of many. Her memory will be treasured by all who knew her, and her legacy will continue to live on through the love she shared and the lives she influenced.
