Douglas Steven Brockman, born on February 20, 1958, in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on May 24, 2025. He was a dedicated self-employed roofer for over 30 years, known for his craftsmanship and work ethic in the roofing trade. Doug's true joy came from spending time with his children and creating memories with them.
Doug's passions extended beyond his profession; he was an avid traveler who embraced life's adventures and cherished the moments spent with his beloved dogs. A true foodie at heart, Doug relished trying new cuisines and explored various culinary delights, sharing meals with family and friends alike. His love for life and family was evident in all he did, making time for those he cared for.
Douglas is survived by his wife, Jayne Brockman; son, Steven (Amanda) Brockman; daughter, Stacy (Sam) Kreienheder; grandchildren, Trent (Livvie) Kreienheder, Melody Kreienheder, and Bryson Brockman; seven bonus-grandchildren, Brayden, Courtney, David, Brian, Kara, Izaa, and Mercedes; four bonus-great-grandchildren, Ryn, Braxton, Baylor, and Madeline; brother, Russ (Cherri) Brockman; and sister, Stephanie DuBray. He also leaves behind a host of other family members and friends whose lives were touched by his warmth and kindness.
Douglas was preceded in death by his father, James F. Brockman, and mother, Joyce R. Brockman.
A visitation will be held on June 6, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri, located at 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St. Peters, MO 63376.
His legacy of love for family and friends, along with his passion for life, will be forever remembered.
