Douglas Edward Schaffner of St. Charles, Missouri passed away Thursday, August 28, 2025 at the age of 55. He was the beloved son of Clarence and Glenda Shaffner; devoted father of Derek, Cody, Jasper, Kaitlyn, and Jade.
Douglas grew up in St. Peters, Missouri. He attended Fort Zumwalt High School. He worked as he grew up at our own Company, Esquire Kitchens Custom Cabinets in Old Town St. Peters. Doug enjoyed outdoor activities, cycling, dirt bikes, boating, and skiing in Colorado. He loved to spend time with his boys. He was a devoted father and adored his children.
Doug was dearly loved by his father; mother; sons; many cousins; his aunt, Judith Hancock and Sue Halterman; and all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Schaffner and both maternal and paternal grandparents.
