Florence E. Frost (née Boden), 82, of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026. Born on April 6, 1944, Florence lived a life defined by deep love for her family and the profound, lasting impact she had on those closest to her.
A devoted wife, Florence married James P. Frost Sr. in 1963 and shared a beautiful marriage of more than 63 years. Together they created a home filled with warmth, stability and unconditional love.
Above all, Florence’s greatest legacy was the tremendous influence she had on her two sons, James P. Frost Jr. (Laura) and Jeffrey Frost (Jane). Through her strength, wisdom, encouragement and unwavering belief in them, she shaped them into the men they are today. She was their foundation, their champion and their guiding light. As the saying goes:
“The mother’s heart is the child’s schoolroom.” — Henry Ward Beecher
That truth lived fully in Florence. Everything her sons learned about love, resilience, kindness and character was first taught in her heart. Her nurturing spirit extended warmly to her five grandchildren — Stephanie, James Frost III, Daniel, Margaret, and Maxwell — and nine great-grandchildren, Gavyn, Blake, Naomi, Isabelle, Emilia, James IV, Madison, Ella and Emmie, along with other dear family members and friends. They will forever carry forward the values and legacy she so lovingly instilled.
