Frieda Lenora Savage passed away peacefully on November 1, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was 76 years old.

Frieda will be remembered as a fun-loving, loving, generous, and kind woman whose greatest joy was always found in the people she loved most. A good friend to many, she had a warm spirit that drew others in and made family gatherings brighter. She loved spending time with her family, and nothing delighted her more than seeing pictures of her great-grandchildren—moments that made her light up like a Christmas tree. She especially cherished getting together with family and celebrating the holidays, with Thanksgiving holding a special place in her heart.

Among the blessings of Frieda’s life, she was especially proud of her marriage to William “Bill” Savage and of the family they built together. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were a lasting source of happiness and pride, and she treasured each of them deeply.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Lisa Epple and her husband Gary, and Missy Schmidt and her husband Dave. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Josh Roellig and his wife Courtney, Marc Roellig and his wife Heather, Heather Lucash and her husband Tim, Dustin Haney and his wife Shaunna, Blake Haney and his wife Brittany, Tori Vargas and her husband David, and Trenton Epple and his wife Megan, along with many great-grandchildren who brought her so much joy. The love Frieda shared with her family will continue to be felt in the memories they hold close and in the traditions they carry forward together.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill Savage; her daughter, Tina Savage Roellig; and her parents, Art and Mary “Ma” Bacon.

Frieda’s life was rooted in love, family, friendship, and simple, joyful moments together. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
