Georgann Wilson, a beloved figure known for her warmth and kindness, passed away on July 5, 2025, the age of 86. Born on March 18, 1939, she touched the lives of many throughout her remarkable journey.
Georgann had a profound love for all animals and found joy in gardening, antiquing, and engaging in stimulating activities such as word search puzzles and coloring. A passionate fan of classic television, she delighted in watching Gunsmoke. However, what mattered most to her was her faith; she cherished her time spent reading her Bible, drawing strength and comfort from its teachings.
Georgann is survived by her three daughters, Susan (Armando) Quinonas, Donna Warmuth, and Jane Pitman; her son, Kenny (Wendy) Null; her niece, Robin (George) Correa; two nephews, Mark (Wanda) Whitelaw and Roger (Susie) Whitelaw; four great-nieces, Crystal (Tim) DeClue, Ashley (Cory) Yarborough, Lydia, and Margarite; as well as two great-nephews, Josh (Lizzy) Whitelaw and George II. She also leaves behind her beloved pet, Chopper Wilson, and a host of other family members and friends who will dearly miss her presence.
Georgann was preceded in death by her brother, George (Butch) Whitelaw; her father, George Whitelaw; her mother, Margaret Whitelaw; and her great-niece, Kayla Whitelaw.
In honor of Georgann’s life, a visitation will be held on July 25, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, St. Peters, followed by a memorial service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate the life of an extraordinary woman who filled the world with kindness and love.
