Gerry Lee Camden, née Eatherton, passed away on May 14, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on July 15, 1949, in St. Louis, Missouri, Gerry was a trailblazer in her field as one of the few women to work as a Paper Hanger. Her remarkable career included significant contributions at Union Station and various hotels throughout the St. Louis area. Gerry's work extended to important clients, including the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Team, demonstrating her skill and dedication in a male-dominated profession.

Known for her friendly, quirky, and silly demeanor, Gerry possessed a fun-loving spirit that endeared her to many. She was also recognized for her generosity, always willing to lend a helping hand or share a laugh with those around her.

Outside of her professional life, Gerry had a multitude of interests and hobbies. She was passionate about painting and enjoyed staying active, especially with her dogs, training them for dog carting. Music was another love of hers, serving as a backdrop to her vibrant life. An animal lover at heart, she cherished her pets, particularly her newest cat, Petey.

Gerry is survived by her daughter, Marinie (Charles) Gebhart; son, James (Christina) Ashby; four grandchildren, Alexander Kurzawa, Isabehl (Isaiah) Ascher, Mindy Ashby, and Drake Ashby; a great-grandchild, Ivy Ascher; brother, Dennis (Ruthie) Eatherton; and sister, Beverly Taylor, along with a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Earl Camden; her father, Leonard Henry Eatherton; and her mother, Rose Marie Eatherton. Gerry Lee Camden will be remembered not only for her professional achievements but also for her vibrant personality and the love she shared with her family and friends.

A celebration of life will take place at a later time. Please check back for details.
