Glen D. Wadley Jr., born on October 26, 1957, passed away on August 30, 2025. His life was marked by dedication to his career, family, and community. Glen had a long and distinguished career with UPS, where he earned the prestigious Circle of Honor Award for 35 years of safe driving. A proud Teamster for 39 years, he exemplified commitment in his professional endeavors.
Glen’s service to his country in the United States Marine Corps further highlighted his dedication and sense of duty. He was known for his strong character, often exhibiting a notoriously stubborn nature and a love for engaging in spirited debates. Despite this, his family and friends remember him as someone who was always open and willing to listen. Glen had a unique ability to make time for those around him, offering advice and support to his children and others in need.
His family remembers him fondly, noting that he often wore either a warm smile or his trademark grin. Glen was endlessly proud of his children, Garrett (Sherri) and Heather, and poured his heart into ensuring that they had everything they needed. He is also survived by his daughter, Jessica (Kevin) Ferrell; grandchildren, Mika Wadley, Gage Wadley, Bodhi Ulrich, Preston Ferrell, Porter Ferrell, Parker Ferrell, and Patrick Ferrell; and his mother, Mildred Wadley. Glen cherished the role of father and grandfather, enjoying every moment spent with his family.
In addition to his family, Glen will be deeply missed by his sisters, Glenda Eilers, Doris Scott, and Karen (Randy) Stufflebean; and his brother, Michael (Khristine) Wadley. He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Dwayne Wadley Sr.; daughter, Heather Danielle Ulrich; brother-in-law, Paul Eilers; and brother, Cecil Wadley.
Glen’s love for the outdoors was evident in his hobbies, which included fishing, barbecuing, shooting, and simply enjoying nature. He took great pride in his home improvement projects and found immense joy in playing with his dog, Piper.
