Helen Neeley passed away on October 12, 2026, at the age of 94. She was born on December 21, 1931, in Lutesville, Missouri, and lived a life centered on love, devotion, and family.

Helen was a very proud homemaker who found deep joy in caring for those she loved. Her home was the heart of her world, and she loved doing for her family in countless ways, both large and small. Loving, kind, and thoughtful, she was someone who wanted to be there for everyone. She was not one to go out often, preferring instead the comfort of home and the closeness of family gathered around her.

Among the many things that brought Helen happiness were the simple and beautiful parts of everyday life. She loved birds, cooking, gardening, and canning, and she made jelly that her family knew as the best in the world. She loved raising her children and cherished the life she built around them. Her children were her proudest accomplishment, and her marriage was also a source of great pride, as she was a deeply devoted wife.

Helen will be remembered most for the love she gave so freely and the steady presence she was in the lives of those around her. She is survived by her three children, Christine Sanders and her husband Charles, Elaine Crocker, and Mark Neeley. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward the warmth of her love and the memory of her caring spirit.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer “Wally” Neeley; her daughter-in-law, Pauline Neeley; her parents, Harvey and Mattie Rhodes; and her 12 siblings.

Helen’s life was a quiet and beautiful testament to faithfulness, family, and love. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
