Hideko Quinn of St. Peters, MO, passed away at the age of 86 on Wednesday June 18th, 2025. She is survived by her sons Michael Quinn (Stephanie) St. Peters, MO and Paul Quinn (Sarah) Saugatuck, MI; daughter Nancy Quinn, Brevard, NC; brothers Isamu Takahashi (Harumi), Shokichi Takahashi (Kayoko), sister Tomiko Uchiyama (Shinichi); grandchildren, John Quinn (Ashley), Patrick Quinn, Emma Quinn, Jack Quinn, Owen Quinn, Joseph Quinn; great grandson Jaxon Quinn as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph R. Quinn; brothers Toshio Takahashi, Masahiro Takahashi; sisters Miyoko Oshima, Etsuko Matsushige, and her parents Masao and Kimi Takahashi.

Born August 10, 1938 in Utsunomiya, Japan, Hideko first relocated to San Diego with her husband Joseph R. Quinn (dec 2004) in 1970. Shortly thereafter they settled in the St. Louis area where Hideko was a long time server in the Asian restaurant scene. Hideko worked at Fuji Inn, Dragon Inn and her longest tenure, at the beloved and oft missed, Ted & Teiko’s. She was also an early member of the St. Louis chapter of the Japanese American Society and participated in the annual festival and fashion shows. A devout Cardinals fan, Hideko will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
