Jackie Douglas, born on March 31, 1953, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026. She was a devoted mother who took great pride in her family and cherished the role she held in their lives.
Jackie's life was marked by her deep commitment to her loved ones and the warmth she extended to all who knew her. Her legacy lives on through her children and grandchildren, reflecting the love and dedication she embodied throughout her years.
She is survived by her three sons, Antanio Douglas (and partner Pacquita Hill), Malcolm Johnson, Martin (and partner Kendetta Ali), and her daughter Clealon Douglas. Jackie also leaves behind seven cherished grandchildren: Ajah Douglas, Khaliah Kelly, Anthony Douglas, Alex Douglas, Brianne Macon, Major Moore, and Kamar Ali. Additionally, she welcomed the joy of a great-grandchild, Kyomi Williams, into her family.
In addition to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild, Jackie is survived by her partner, Cleveland Johnson. She also leaves a strong family network of three sisters—Vernina Douglas, Martha Douglas, and Ada Lovett—and seven brothers: Thomas Douglas Jr., John Douglas, Fred Douglas, Michael Douglas Sr., Robert Douglas, Theodore Douglas, and Darryl Douglas Sr. Many other family members and friends remain to remember and honor her memory.
Jackie was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Douglas; her mother, Samella Anderson; her son, Cleveland Johnson; step-son, Cleveland Spencer; and her two sisters, Freddie Mae Douglas, Ada Lovett; and her brother, Darryl Douglas.
A visitation to honor Jackie’s life will be held on April 3, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, MO 63376. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place on the same day at 1:15 p.m. at Bellefontaine Cemetery, 4947 West Florissant Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63115.
Jackie Douglas’s spirit and dedication will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. Her love as a mother and family pillar will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
