In loving memory of Jacqueline Lee Blank who went to be with the Lord on July 3, 2025 at age 90. Daughter of the late Clardy and Edna Newhouse, she is survived by her loving husband, Richard Blank (to whom she was married for 21 years) and one sister, Janet Laymann of Atlanta, GA. She was the matriarch of five living generations including five children, Deborah Theerman of Booneville, MO, Pamela Theerman Stock of Boonville, MO, David Theerman of St. Charles MO, Jennifer Theerman Lee (David) of Warranton, MO, and Laura Theerman of Lesterville, MO, one step-daughter Marilyn Susan Theerman who preceded her in death, three stepsons, Hans Theerman who preceeded her in death, Michael Theerman (Janet) of Worcester. MA, Jonathan Blank (Barbara) of Roanoke VA. Fourteen grandchildren, Melissa Reese (Shawn) of Columbia MO, Hope Seth (Micah) of Redding CA, David Stock (Jennifer) of Dothan AL, Alex Stock (Jennifer) of St. Louis MO, Trisha Farmer (David) Nashville TN, Aaron Stock of Wentzville MO, Adrian Theerman of Tulsa OK, Isaac Theerman of Tulsa OK, Aaliyah Wooby of St. Charles MO, Sunshine Hattingh (Ruann) of Bartlesville OK, Lake Wharton (Rebeccah) of Warrenton MO, Forest Wharton of Marlborough MO, Cloud Wharton (Kaitlynn) of Valdosta GA, Stacie Remmington (Mike) of Norfolk VA. Also many , many great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Some of Jacqueline’s accomplishments were: Starting the first girl scout troop in Wentzville MO 1962 with co-leader Lila Ann Witte. They had 53 Brownies in their troop. Jacqueline was an executive for R.L. Pope and Company in the 1970’s setting up new offices. In the 1980’s she earned her LPN nursing degree, and went on to care for many elderly patients. After retirement she had many hobbies and one of her favorites was making 41 quilts for her children, grandchildren and many others.
Some of her other adventures were hot air ballooning ziplining and parasailing . She loved working in her yard where she hadmany different rose bushes. Jacqueline also went on many trips including Rome, Israel and Jamaica where she loved going to the orphanages with Evangelist Patricia Thomas.
Always strong, always a fighter, always loving she will be long remembered.
A visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, taking place on July 9, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, allowing family and friends the opportunity to pay their respects. The following day, a funeral service will be held at Hope Lutheran Church in St. Charles at 10:00 AM, where all are invited to celebrate her remarkable life.
