James Davis Ette, born on August 14, 1995, passed away on May 7, 2026. His life was filled with meaningful moments and passions that defined who he was to those who knew and loved him.
James found joy in many pursuits that reflected his varied interests and vibrant spirit. He was deeply passionate about building guns and excelled in target shooting, activities that exemplified his precision and dedication. An avid lover of the outdoors, James treasured his time outside, where he could connect with nature and find peace. His enthusiasm for gaming and music added layers to his rich character, while his fondness for spending treasured moments with his beloved dog, Moose, showed his gentle and affectionate side. Additionally, James had a keen eye for fashion, reflected in his avid shoe collection.
His family and friends were at the heart of James's life. He is survived by his two daughters, Aaliyah Peine and Cailyn Shambley, and his son, Noah Shambley, who carry forward his legacy. By his side was his lifelong partner, Alysia Peine, whose companionship was a source of strength and comfort. James's parents, Gregg and Lisa Ette, and Kim Johnson, as well as his siblings, Michael Bolderson and Brittany Kiel, remain pillars of his enduring family bond. His uncle, Ken and Julie Ette, along with cousins Drew Ette and Steve Ray, also grieve his passing alongside many other relatives and friends who cherished him deeply.
A visitation in honor of James Davis Ette will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, St. Peters, located at 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St Peters, MO 63376, on May 17, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This gathering offers all who knew James a chance to celebrate his life, share their memories, and find comfort in one another's company.
