James Rodebaugh, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on July 17, 2026. His presence touched the lives of many, and his memory will be forever cherished by those who knew and loved him.

James is survived by a loving family who were the source of his greatest pride and happiness. His daughter Jamie Cervantes and son Jeffrey Rodebaugh, along with his daughter-in-law Tabatha, supported and cherished him throughout his life. James was blessed with several grandchildren: Chelsea Rodebaugh, Reyna Cervantes, Lupe Cervantes, Tieler Rodebaugh, Galia Galicia, Padrea Williams, Cole Rodebaugh, and Julian Galicia. His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren: Justice Rodebaugh, Jenaiah Rodebaugh, and Cruz Cervantes, who all brought him immense joy. James is also survived by his brother George, and his sister Carol, all of whom he held dear to his heart.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Donna Rodebaugh, his father George Rodebaugh, and his mother Olga Rodebaugh, whose caring upbringing shaped the man he became. He is also predeceased by his brothers Charles, Eugene, Fred, Walace, and John, and by his sisters Alice, Georgia May, Lorraine, Margaret, Doris, and Rose. Their memories remained an important part of his life.

James lived a rich and fulfilling life. He thoroughly enjoyed going to the casino, where he found excitement and camaraderie. His Cadillac was a source of pride, and he dedicated many hours to its care. Family time was precious to James, and he delighted in every moment spent with loved ones—sharing stories, laughter, and love. Traveling and embracing new experiences were passions that he never outgrew. Above all else, James enjoyed life and approached each day with a spirit of gratitude and adventure.

A visitation for James Rodebaugh will be held on July 22, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, St. Peters, located at 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Peters, MO 63376. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00 AM at the same location. Following the funeral service a graveside service will take place at 12:30 PM at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, 11101 St Charles Rock Rd, St. Ann, MO 63074. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by James are welcome to join in remembrance and celebration of his remarkable life.

In honoring James's memory, his family invites all who knew him to gather and reflect upon the joy, laughter, and warmth he brought to the world. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who loved him.
