James "Jim" Tomlinson

James "Jim" Tomlinson, born on June 21, 1938, passed away on December 28, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and love that will be cherished by many. Jim was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, whose presence will be profoundly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Tomlinson; daughter, Pamela (Randy) Hagemann; son, Michael Tomlinson; and two cherished grandchildren, Kayla (Jason) Januska and Madison (Tony Gaia) Hagemann. Jim’s love extended further to his two great-grandchildren, Logan and Connor Januska. He is also remembered by his sister, Virginia Ray, and his brother, Glenn (Janet) Moore, along with a host of other family members and friends who held Jim dear to their hearts.

Jim enjoyed attending Hoot's games and had a passion for playing golf and going to the horse races, activities that brought him joy and camaraderie throughout his life.

Jim was preceded in death by his father, James Archie Tomlinson, Sr.; mother, Vada Moore; and son, James Archie Tomlinson, III.

Visitation services will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, St. Peters, located at 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Peters, MO 63376. The funeral service will follow on Monday, January 5, 2026, starting at 10:30 AM, Burial will be held privately.
