Jamie L. Boiles-Vasquez, born on May 20, 1995, and passing on May 19, 2026, leaves behind a legacy marked by compassion, resilience, and a vibrant spirit that touched all who knew her. Throughout a life curtailed all too soon by a long and courageous battle with kidney disease and diabetes, Jamie demonstrated an unwavering strength and a gentle kindness that will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
Jamie’s love for animals, particularly cats, was a defining part of her character. Her nurturing nature extended beyond pets to children, whom she adored and cherished. Those close to her remember her as a warm soul who found joy in the simple pleasures of life—spending quiet evenings watching beloved television shows such as Gilmore Girls and Grey’s Anatomy. Music also held a special place in Jamie’s heart. She enjoyed listening to country music and was a huge Swifty.
Baking was not just a hobby but a source of comfort and creativity for Jamie. Her kitchen was often filled with the delightful aromas of her latest creations. Among her many collections, a lovingly amassed array of souvenir spoons. Jamie enjoyed watching Jeopardy and completing crosswords puzzles.
Jamie is survived by her devoted husband, Daniel Vasquez, with whom she shared deep love and partnership. Her family extends to her cherished step-son, Oliver Vasquez; her beloved mother, Michelle (Leonard) Sutter; her father, Dennis Boiles, along with his partner Diana Evers; two loving sisters, Ashley (Tony Petri) Boiles and Kristen Boiles; her brother Alexander Boiles; and a step-brother, Zachary Sutter; an abundance of nieces and nephews, and many other family members and friends.
In remembering Jamie L. Boiles-Vasquez, her family and friends celebrate her life. She leaves behind a mark on those fortunate enough to have known her—a testament to a life lived with grace, courage, and love.
