Jane F. Taylor, born on September 5, 1939, in St. Louis, Missouri, peacefully departed this life on August 9, 2025. A cherished presence to all who knew her, Jane lived a life defined by her sweet and loving nature, unwavering generosity, and remarkable ability to coordinate and plan events. She dedicated herself to ensuring that every gathering went smoothly, offering her talents selflessly to others, and was renowned for her ability to keep secrets, serving as a trusted confidante to many.
Throughout her life, Jane found joy in the simple pleasures of companionship and creativity. Jane was a true dog lover. In her younger years, she loved to travel. Spending quality time with family was most important to her. Family gatherings were often highlighted by her delightful cooking and baking, as well as her artistic flair, particularly when crafting Christmas ornaments that have become treasured keepsakes for her loved ones.
Jane's legacy will endure through her survivors, including her husband, Charles Taylor; son, Patrick Taylor; and granddaughter, Alison Taylor. She is also survived by her nephew, John Helfrick; two nieces, Jacqueline (Gary) Smith and Jayne Peuster; alongside a host of other family members and friends who will dearly miss her vibrant spirit.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Kloeppel; father, Thomas Krieger; brothers, Thomas "Jim" A. Krieger and John Krieger; and sister, Patricia Helfrick. Jane's impact on those around her was profound, and she will be fondly remembered for her kindness, love, and the magical moments she created throughout her lifetime.
