Janet A. Hicks

Janet Ann Hicks, age 77, of St Peters, Missouri passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023 in St Peters, Missouri. She was born in Toronto, Canada on January 29, 1946 to William and Lily Beaton (nee Brown). She was married to Raymond Hicks for 55 years.

Janet was an avid reader. She loved knitting and swimming. She baked with hate, making the best chocolate chip cookies in the world. She also loved the Queen's English. Janet loved working with her church. She never met a stranger.

Janet is survived by her Husband, Raymond Hicks; Son, Raymond Hicks, Jr.; Daughter, Nancy (Jeremy) Jaggers; Daughter, Marissa (Chelsea) France; Son, Carl Hicks; Two Brothers, Bill (Barbara) Beaton, David Beaton; and a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Father, William Hector Beaton; Mother, Lily Beaton; Son, Gregory Hicks; and Sister, Sharon Howe.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. A memorial ceremony will take place immediately following at 3:00pm.

To celebrate Janet's life, the family requests that everyone wear yellow or bright colors to her services.
