Janet Elizabeth Stewart, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in St. Peters, Missouri, surrounded by her loving family on December 20, 2024. Born on April 10, 1942, in Steele, Missouri, Janet lived a life dedicated to her family and her passions, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth.

Janet was known for her nurturing spirit and unwavering devotion to her family. She took immense joy in her role as a mother to her beloved daughter, Stephanie Stewart, and her son, Michael Stewart. Janet's heart swelled with pride for her grandchildren, Jenna Boyer and Emily Stewart, and her three great-grandchildren, Ryker Boyer, Mabry Boyer, and Kennedie Stewart. Janet’s love for them was boundless, and she cherished every moment spent together, creating lasting memories that will be treasured forever.

Beyond her family life, Janet found fulfillment through her career in beauty. She had a beauty shop in her home, a space filled with laughter, conversation, and the joy of transformation. Even when she wasn't working at the beauty shop, her home remained a haven of beauty and style, reflecting her passion and talent.

Janet was a woman of many interests, known for her love of shopping, attending craft shows, and exploring garage sales. Her zest for life and the thrill of discovery brought her happiness, allowing her to connect with others in her community and beyond.

She is mourned by her sisters, Shelby Hansen and Shirley Robbins, who will carry her memory in their hearts. Janet is reunited in spirit with her beloved husband, William Stewart, and her parents, Veatus and Odell Robbins, who have surely welcomed her with open arms.

As we remember Janet, we hold dear the vitality she brought into our lives, the warmth of her smile, and her ability to make every person feel special. Her legacy of love, compassion, and dedication will live on in her family and friends, providing solace in the knowledge that she touched so many lives with her kindness.

A visitation to honor Janet's life will be held on December 30, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, followed by a funeral service at 1:30 PM. A graveside service will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Saint Charles at 2:30 PM.
