Jean Roberts Sullivan was small in stature but mighty in spirit. She always seemed to know who she was and did not feel the need to justify herself to anyone.
Jean began her career in education at Newburg R-II School District and retired from Jennings School District. Her students and staff were a great joy to her life. She truly loved all of you. You gave her purpose. Your success was her success and she couldn't have been prouder.
She couldn't sit still in retirement and she felt she had more she wanted to do. She opened a daycare in St. Peters, Missouri and it was her passion until Alzheimer's took it from her.
Her loved of children and family defined her. She loved her family fiercely and cherished every moment with them. She loved family vacations. She didn't want to do anything too adventurous but she encouraged everyone else to do it all. She was a great cheerleader. Please use her spirit to move you forward in your dreams.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Stefanie (Leo) Arnold; seven grandchildren, Alexis (Bobby), Leo, Ajalaa, Jahaad, Israel, Mary, Takhya; two great-grandchildren, Bo, Emmitt; two sisters, Janet (Ed) Tirone, Carla (the late Roger) Brookshire; Cousin, Judy (Bill) Street step-daughter, Unique Sullivan; and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Halbert Sullivan; son, Ryan Lee Hall; father, Carl Lawrence Roberts; mother, Golda Lee Cagle.
