Jeffrey Allen Walchshauser, a lifelong musician and cherished family man passed away on February 19, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on October 27, 1962, Jeffrey dedicated his life not only to his craft, but also to the people he loved and the friendships he built around him.
For over 40 years, Jeffrey contributed his skills as a pattern maker in the family business. His true passion, however, was music. A talented guitarist and vocalist, Jeffrey began playing in high school, where he joined the jazz band. His love for music never waned; over the years, he performed with several bands, including Arrow Lace, Hostage, The Boys, Morocco Junction, and The Big Easy Band. Whether in a band or doing acoustic performances, Jeffrey’s personality, vocals, and musical talent resonated deeply with all who had the pleasure to listen.
In addition to his passion for music, Jeffrey enjoyed camping with the BLCC, riding his Indian motorcycles, and following the St. Louis Blues. Jeff was passionate about his family and encouraged his boys in many ways. Once his boys became involved in Boy Scouts, Jeff continued to support them and the troop by becoming Scoutmaster, where he led 20 scouts to the highest rank of Eagle during his post as Scoutmaster.
Always quick with a vibrant laugh and a warm smile, Jeffrey had a remarkable ability to connect with others, making life long friends and fostering deep relationships wherever he went. He was known for his dynamic energy, positivity, never uttering a bad word, and always helping others. His spirit will be missed by all whose lives he touched.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Tami Walchshauser, and his two sons, Joe Walchshauser and Sean Walchshauser. He is also survived by his mother, Janet Walchshauser, and brothers Dave Walchshauser and Don Walchshauser. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Walchshauser.
In honoring Jeffrey's life, family and friends are invited to gather at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, MO, on March 7, 2026. The visitation will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM, and a memorial gathering afterward from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Jeffrey Allen Walchshauser’s legacy of life, love, and laughter will continue to inspire and resonate in the hearts of all who knew him.
